We specialize in weddings, engagement, portrait (family, senior photos, etc.), and small business and brand photography. No job is too small (or too big) and we take a personalized approach to each client’s vision and needs.

High Camp Photography is based in Denver, Colorado with a focus on Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico and Utah. We also will travel beyond our region for destination weddings, elopements or other special occasions. We have experience photographing through the southeastern (Charleston, Savannah, Wilmington) and northeastern United States (NYC, Boston, Buffalo, Rochester, Adirondacks).

Booking a session is simple and straightforward. First, fill out the form in the “Contact” tab. I’ll reply within 24 hours to set up some time to connect to get to know you and your vision - this could be in-person, via phone or Zoom/Google Meet. If you decide to move forward from there, I would provide a contract for your review and signature and a deposit (see pricing page) will lock the date for you. And we’re not done there! Leading up to your event, I’ll stay in touch on schedule, inspiration and photo requests, and make sure we’re ready to get some amazing captures.

Photographing an event - whether it is a wedding or a senior portrait session - is a massive responsibility that we take very seriously. Managing risk is very important to us!
Pre-Meetings and Site Visits - We take the time to really dig deep into your vision and clarify expectations. Whenever possible, we also try to conduct pre-visits at your venue or session location to plan an efficient shoot.
Equipment / Memory Redundancy - We bring two primary cameras with one backup camera to every event. Each camera contains dual memory cards and we backup to hard drives onsite throughout the event.
Long Term Storage - All of your photographs are backed up to two hard drives and the cloud.
Insurance - We are fully insured, documentation provided upon request.

You’ll get a password protected, personalized online album that you can access for photo downloads.
Note: We do not provide unaltered RAW files.

Getting you your photos quickly is a priority for us at High Camp.
Weddings - You will receive a sample photo album (usually 10-15 photos) within 48 hours. We target full album delivery in 7-14 days (so you don’t have to wait months to see your photos!!).
Portraits - We target a less than 7-days delivery.
Small Business and Corporate - We target a less than 7-days delivery.

Absolutely! When you receive your album, each photo has an option to download or purchase prints. The process is seamless and straightforward. Please let us know if you have any questions on prints, we’re happy recommend size, finish, paper type, etc.

From a legal perspective, High Camp Photography owns the copyright to the images. This prevents you from selling, altering or editing them yourself without written permission in the contract. We do include a release in your contract providing permission to print your imagery at your lab of choice and share digitally with friends, family, social media, etc.
For business shoots, the same applies. We will provide permissions in the contract for usage and err on the side of flexibility for the business to get the most out of their photos!

Generally, solids and neutral tones are best but what is most important is that you like your outfit and feel confident in it. Wear what you love and feel most comfortable in!

You can absolutely choose the location - we actually prefer clients to pick a place that is meaningful to them. If we aren’t familiar with it, we’ll be sure to do our research and scout it out beforehand, if needed. We’re also happy to suggest locations for you to choose from!

Yes - we love pets - as long as we get to get in some pets (and will bring a few treats if you let us know beforehand!). Props are great - anything that will help bring who you are to the lens is encouraged.

Portrait FAQs

We shape the shoot to meet your needs. Before we get started, we’ll make sure we understand what story you’re trying to tell. Often, brand photography sessions include pictures of the space, merchandise, customer service, etc.

Yes! We will meet with you prior to the shoot to understand your needs, vision and get a comprehensive list of deliverables from you. We’ll also learn about your current branding and website material so we can tailor the photography to meet your marketing process. After we meet, we’ll send over a plan for your review prior to the day of shooting.

Yes, we do offer headshots for teams or individuals and can include those in your package.

Yes - we’ve photographed everything from fitness to hospitality to major brand events. We also have career experience in social impact, nonprofit, competitive sports, and technology.
If we haven’t photographed it, we’re eager to learn the story behind your business and industry. We’ll do our research, listen to your needs, and come armed with a plan to achieve your vision!
